On April 17, 2026, the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Moscow.
A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the meeting led by Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reported .
During the meeting, the heads of the foreign affairs agencies exchanged views on current issues on the international agenda and discussed prospects for cooperation within the CIS.



Participants paid special attention to issues of regional security, expanding economic cooperation, and deepening humanitarian and cultural ties within the Commonwealth.
In the context of strengthening humanitarian cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan proposed intensifying the production and widespread distribution of films highlighting the shared contribution and heroism of the peoples of the Commonwealth in the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Following the meeting, a number of decisions were adopted aimed at the consistent development and strengthening of multifaceted cooperation between the CIS member states.
