Sharif Nazarzoda, Head of the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, held a meeting with residents of Kulob, during which he called on citizens to actively cooperate with law enforcement agencies to prevent conflicts among adolescents and reduce the level of teenage violence. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting on January 22, Nazarzoda showed participants photographs of detained minors, confiscated bladed weapons, and victims of conflicts. He noted that knife fights among teenagers, the spread of extremist views, and the use of psychotropic and intoxicating substances remain among the most pressing and alarming problems in the city of Kulob.

During his analytical presentation, the head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs presented statistical data and criminal case materials to the audience, detailing the consequences of involving teenagers in illegal activities. He stated that illustrative examples and facts should help young people understand the dangers of such actions and their responsibility for their actions.
Sharif Nazarzoda placed particular emphasis on working with athletes, sports school coaches, and active youth, urging them to make a personal contribution to preventing public disorder. He emphasized the importance of developing legal awareness, civic responsibility, and law enforcement in adolescents, as well as active participation in community life, to improve city safety.

According to the head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, only through close cooperation between society and law enforcement agencies is it possible to effectively counter threats to public safety, prevent crime, and prevent minors from engaging in illegal activities.
At the end of the meeting, the participants put forward a number of practical proposals for expanding cooperation with law enforcement agencies. These proposals focused on jointly organizing preventive measures, educational programs for adolescents, and strengthening public order, which should contribute to increased security and a reduction in juvenile delinquency in Kulyab.
