Several fatal road accidents were recorded in Tajikistan on December 6 and 7, 2025, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
On December 6, at approximately 4:30 PM, Akhmadkulov Bunyod, born in 1994 and a resident of Istaravshan, driving an Opel Astra from the Sughd region to the capital, lost control of the vehicle at kilometer 66 in the Varzob district and drove into a ravine. He died instantly as a result of the accident.
That same day, at approximately 7:20 PM, the driver of a Kia Bonga, Dzhalol Zaripov, born in 1969, a resident of the Shakhrinav district, struck a pedestrian, Mukhtor Karaev, born in 1959, who was intoxicated, on a road in the rural jamoat of Shakhrinav. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
Additionally, during the course of operational and investigative activities, police detained Mirzozoda Kamariddin Akhliddin, born in 2003, a resident of Dushanbe. On December 5, 2025, while driving a HOWO on Kahhorov Street, he negligently struck a 49-year-old Dushanbe resident and fled the scene. The injured pedestrian died in the hospital.
On December 7, 2025, at approximately 7:30 AM, Alimardon Bekhruzovich Sultanazarov, born in 2006 and a resident of the Devashtich district, driving a Hyundai Tukson from the Spitamen district to the city of Khujand, lost control of the vehicle at the 283rd kilometer of the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanak highway and collided with an Opel Vectra driven by Khaknazarov Khairullo Umurzokovich, born in 1968 and a resident of the Spitamen district. As a result of the accident, Uktamjon Khaknazarov, a passenger in the Opel Vectra, born in 1963 and also a resident of the Spitamen district, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
All road traffic accidents are investigated, and the causes and circumstances of the incident are determined.
