Nine farms in the Vanj district received modern tractors and equipment with support from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the regional administration's press service.
Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Chairman Mirzonabot Alisher Khudoberdi noted that the country's leadership's constant attention to the agricultural sector allows farmers not only to improve their labor efficiency but also to actively supply the domestic market with fresh agricultural produce.
"Today's equipment transfer is part of our ongoing support for farms. It is thanks to the government's policies and the attention of the Leader of the Nation that farmers are now able to implement modern farming methods," the regional governor emphasized.
According to the administration, a total of 13 tractors were delivered to farms in the Vanj district in 2025. The machines delivered today are fully equipped, allowing for mechanized tillage and significantly increased crop yields.
