During a working visit to the Nosir Khusrav district, Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda attended the opening ceremony of an additional administrative building for the district's executive authority. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon region chairman.
The new administrative building will accommodate 10 offices. Addressing civil servants, Rasulzoda emphasized the importance of conscientiously fulfilling their duties and serving the Motherland and the nation.
During his visit, the Prime Minister also inspected the progress of construction at the Beshkent drainage pumping station in the village of Labi Havz in the Takhti Khusrav rural jamoat. Commissioned in 1982, the station lowers groundwater levels across 6,424 hectares of agricultural land in the district. Currently, only one of the five pumping units is operational.
According to the Dangara Valley Irrigation Project Implementation Center, a tender was held to restore the station. The work is being carried out by Umed-1 LLC, which has completed routine repairs to the building, restored some of the equipment, and installed new technical components outside the station. Three new pumping units have already been delivered to the district and will be installed in the coming days.
Kokhir Rasulzoda instructed the responsible structures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the station and the timely supply of irrigation water to the district's agricultural lands.
