In honor of the 34th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, the tuberculosis hospital and the regional cardiovascular center in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) received modern medical equipment. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.
On September 8, the regional governor visited several social facilities, including the regional tuberculosis hospital and cardiology center, where new equipment was installed. Specifically, the tuberculosis hospital received a CT scanner, allowing it to provide patients with higher-quality and more timely medical care.
Additionally, the regional cardiovascular center opened the Sharyon Varid diagnostic and treatment center. According to specialists, the new facility's services will be more accessible to the public than other regional institutions, and its doctors are committed to providing the highest level of medical care.
In a conversation with employees, the head of the region noted that the development of medical infrastructure was made possible thanks to state independence and the ongoing support of the republic's government.
