The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, Firdavs Tolibzoda, and the Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkey, Fatih Karahan, discussed issues of strengthening cooperation on September 28 in Istanbul, the National Bank reported.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that Turkey is one of Tajikistan's long-standing partners, and that trade and financial relations between the two countries have a solid foundation. The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan discussed the achievements and reforms implemented in Tajikistan's banking system, statistical indicators for the banking system in 2025, financial stability, and increased public confidence.
It was noted that financial reforms in the Republic of Tajikistan are aimed at creating favorable conditions for foreign investors and ensuring a transparent and predictable financial environment, and in recent years there has been a stable share of foreign capital in the capital of the country's credit institutions.
