This morning, a farewell ceremony for new recruits to the Tajik Armed Forces was held at the Rapid Response Forces unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Rasht district under the motto "Loyal Sons of Our People!" NIAT Khovar reported.
Conscripts from districts of the Rasht region have voluntarily reported to military units to join the ranks of the National Army. It's worth noting that the conscription plan for the Sangvor, Lakhsh, Tojikobod, Nurabad, and Rasht districts has been 100% fulfilled to date. Thus, on the first day of the conscription campaign, the districts of the Rasht region fulfilled their autumn conscription plan 100%.
The meeting was attended by representatives of district government bodies of the Rasht region, law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, parents of conscripts, veterans, and civil society activists, who saw off the new recruits with mothers' prayers and a cake-making ceremony.
Conscripts from the districts of the Rasht region stated: "We are joining the National Army at the behest of our hearts. We, like other young men of our homeland, have voluntarily joined the National Army. It is the responsibility of the youth to ensure that the conscription plan in the districts of the region is 100% met within the established deadlines each year. We confidently declare that we will faithfully defend our homeland and proudly return to our parents."
At the meeting, 190 conscripts who completed driving courses at the Defense Assistant public organization, funded by the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan and the executive bodies of state authorities in the districts of the Rasht region and voluntarily submitted applications for enlistment in the National Army, were presented with driver's licenses.
Donagul Akhrorova, the mother of one of the conscripts, noted: "We, mothers, faithfully support the wise policies of the Head of State and raise our children in the spirit of patriotism. Therefore, we are proud that our children dedicate themselves to defending the borders and native land of our beloved Motherland and voluntarily enlist in the ranks of the National Army."
At the festive gathering, in accordance with the tradition of previous years, a "Kulchagazon" ceremony and an artistic program in honor of the new recruits took place.
