On October 15, as part of the 2nd Dushanbe International Film Festival "Toji Somon," Iran Cinema Days will be held in Tajikistan, the Tajikfilm State Institution reported.
The event aims to strengthen cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran and will also serve as a platform for joint film projects.
As part of the Iranian Cinema Days, viewers will be able to see feature and short films by Iranian directors. Feature films will include "Shahsavor" by Hossein Namozie, "Gariza" by Siyovush Asadi, and "Money in a Small River" by Ehson Okili. Short film enthusiasts will be able to see "Short Story," "Khusraw 127," "Beshahrvandi," "Game of Destiny," and "Endless."
The 2nd Dushanbe International Film Festival "Toji Somon" will be held from October 15 to 20 in the capital and other regions of the country. The festival, timed to coincide with Tajik Cinema Day, aims to promote domestic and international cinema and foster creative exchanges between the countries.
The event organizers noted that holding Iranian Cinema Days promotes cultural dialogue and strengthens friendly relations between the peoples of Tajikistan and Iran. The festival also includes master classes, meetings with directors, and film discussions, creating additional opportunities for professional exchange and the development of the region's film industry.
