Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Khabibullo Khairullozoda and Director of the Agency for State Social Protection of the Population under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection Abdullo Safarzoda familiarized themselves with the living conditions and provision of social services in a number of institutions in the Yavan district and Rudaki district. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan.
In accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, on July 31 of this year, representatives of the ministry visited the State Institution “Boarding House for the Elderly and People with Disabilities Yavana”.
During the visit, representatives of the Ministry of Health inspected the living conditions of the residents, the organization of food, sanitary units, the employees' workrooms and warehouses for storing food supplies. A working meeting was held with the staff of the institution, during which preparations for the 2025-2026 winter season, improvement of the territory, as well as events dedicated to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed.
After that, the delegation, accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the Rudaki District, the curator of the social sphere Zarrina Ismoilzoda, visited the Center for Social Services for Children with Disabilities of the public organization "Kharakat" and the Center for Social Services at Home under the executive body of state power of the district.
At the Harakat Center, the ministry representatives got acquainted with the methodology and conditions for providing services to children with disabilities. During the meeting, the parents of the center's wards expressed gratitude for the professionalism of the staff and the high-quality approach to work.
Following the visit, Khabibullo Khairullozoda and Abdullo Safarzoda held working talks with the staff of the institutions, during which they emphasized the need to improve the level and quality of social services, implement innovative methods, and use budget funds effectively and target-oriented. Particular attention was paid to issues of personnel selection, advanced training and professional retraining of specialists.
Representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Agency also provided methodological assistance to the employees of the centers on issues of improving the conditions for the provision of services and gave specific recommendations for improving their activities.
