In the first half of 2026, industrial production in the Ismoili Somoni district of Dushanbe reached 901.4 million somoni , an increase of 283.5 million somoni compared to the same period in 2025. This growth rate was 142.3% . This was reported at a press conference dedicated to the district's socioeconomic development results for the first six months of this year.
According to the district's executive authority, of the 96 registered industrial enterprises , 45 increased production volumes, 41 reduced output, and 10 remained inactive during the reporting period. The number of inactive enterprises decreased by one compared to the previous year.
This year, four new industrial enterprises were established in the district, creating 17 new jobs . Authorities noted that the creation of new production facilities and employment growth remains a priority, and necessary measures are being taken on an ongoing basis.
At the same time, construction and renovation of several large industrial facilities continues in the district. Crystal Green Glass LLC is implementing projects to build quartz, sheet glass, and glass container manufacturing facilities. The Siyoma manufacturing company is constructing facilities for the production of various packaging materials, alcoholic beverages, and large warehouses. Toqikiston Industrial Complex OJSC is building a beer plant. Zarir LLC is constructing a metal profile and plastic window and door manufacturing facility, and Toq Milk LLC is building a dairy production facility.

The volume of retail and wholesale trade, as well as car repair services for the first six months of 2026 amounted to 3 billion 584.7 million somoni , an increase of 388 million somoni compared to the same period last year.
Over the same period, the population received 2 billion 645.3 million somoni in paid services. Compared to the first half of 2025, this figure increased by 952.5 million somoni , with the growth rate reaching 145.6% .
Enforcement of the city's General Plan and the rational use of land plots continued in the district. Specialists from the relevant department carried out measures to prevent illegal construction and unauthorized land seizures.
Based on the results of the reporting period , 13 violations of the law were identified, related to illegal construction and unauthorized occupation of land plots with a total area of 6,400 square meters .

Total capital investment from all investors reached 1 billion 537.9 million somoni . This is 577.1 million somoni more than the same period last year, representing a 1.5-fold increase.
As part of the implementation of the program of events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan , an approved plan is in effect, including 161 points and 850 events .
According to the district administration, taking into account additionally included projects, 996 events have been completed to date, which is 117% of the original plan.
In addition, in the first half of the year, in close cooperation with entrepreneurs and individuals in preparation for the Independence Anniversary celebrations , 3.6 kilometers of roads were commissioned, 24 mid- and multi-story residential buildings were painted, and five solid waste collection sites were reconstructed.
