From January to June 2026, Tajikistan imported 35,400 tons of flour worth $11.3 million. The average value of imported products was $320 per ton. Compared to the same period last year, import volume increased by 11,000 tons, or 45.2%.
The Antimonopoly Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan announced this today at a press conference summarizing the results of the first half of the year.
According to the agency, there are currently 19 economic entities operating in the flour import market.
The largest flour importers are Sahad LLC, which accounts for 34.8% of total imports, Touch Tour LLC with a 35.5% share, and , which supplies 11.7%. The remaining economic entities account for 18.1% of total imports.
The Antimonopoly Service also reported that in the first six months of 2026, 399.4 thousand tons of flour were produced in the republic, worth 1 billion 141.0 million somoni.
Compared to the same period last year, production volume increased by 95.8 thousand tons, or 31.6%.
