Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has ordered a study into the issue of waiving the 100-somoni fee for taxi drivers, according to the Dushanbe City Hall.
The corresponding order has been given to the Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, who oversees transport issues. He, together with the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and other relevant agencies, is to study the possibility of abolishing this fee.
The relevant agencies have also been instructed to promptly submit proposals for the implementation of new and modern operating methods aimed at ensuring the normal operation of passenger taxi companies.
