Six people died in a traffic accident in the Farkhor district, according to the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on July 4, 2026, at approximately 16:40 in the village of Bobosafo, Farkhor district.
According to the department, 19-year-old Muhammad Dilshod Idriszoda, a resident of the rural jamoat of Gulshan in the Farkhor district, was driving a Hyundai Service vehicle with state registration number 70-00 AC 01.
He was traveling from the Vose district toward the Farkhor district. In the village of Bobosafo, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Toyota Corolla with license plate number 77-88 AS 03.
The Toyota Corolla was driven by 34-year-old Oyatullo Rakhmatulloevich Tursunov, a resident of the Istiklol rural jamoat in the Farkhor district.
As a result of the collision, the drivers of both vehicles, Muhammad Dilshod Idriszoda and Oyatullo Rakhmatulloevich Tursunov, received bodily injuries and died at the scene.
Four passengers in the vehicles also sustained various injuries. All died at the scene of the accident.
Thus, as a result of the road accident, six people died: two drivers and four passengers.
Further investigation is being conducted into this incident.
