Work is underway in Tajikistan to create a new educational television channel, the main focus of which will be the study of foreign languages.
As Nosir Saidzoda, Chairman of the Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting, announced at a press conference today, July 6, the project is being implemented in accordance with the instructions of President Emomali Rahmon, issued in 2024.
The channel's programming will focus on language learning. It plans to include special educational programs and other themed programmes designed to help viewers master foreign languages.
Broadcasting will be carried out in Russian, English, Chinese and Arabic.
