In Bokhtar, State Traffic Inspectorate officers identified three drivers who were driving while intoxicated, according to the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The agency noted that driving while intoxicated is considered one of the most serious traffic violations and poses a serious threat to both the driver and other road users.
According to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, such an offense carries strict penalties, including a fine, administrative arrest, and a five-year driving ban.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while on duty, officers from the Bokhtar State Automobile Inspectorate detained Madina Alikhonovna Alayarova, born in 1995, a resident of Bokhtar, who was driving a Toyota Camry.
Also detained was Saidmurodov Bobodzhon Nuralievich, born in 1986, a resident of the Kushoniyon district, Mehnatobod jamoat, who was driving a Daewoo Nexia.
Another violator was Naizaev Komildzhon Rustamovich, born in 2006, a resident of the city of Bokhtar, Navobod microdistrict, who was driving an Opel Vectra.
According to law enforcement, Naizayev, while intoxicated, caused a traffic accident that resulted in technical damage to his car and another vehicle.
The results of the medical examination confirmed that all three drivers had consumed alcoholic beverages and were driving while intoxicated.
In relation to Alayarova Madina, Saidmurodov Bobodzhon and Naizaev Komildzhon, road service inspectors drew up administrative protocols under Article 332 of the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses.
By decision of the Bokhtar City Court, each of the violators was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest. Furthermore, their driving licenses were revoked for five years.
