On June 11–12, 2026, the fourth national stage of the "Student of the Year" competition was held at the State Educational Institution "Presidential Lyceum for Gifted Students of Tajikistan" in Dushanbe. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
The competition was organized to identify active, creative, proactive, and innovative schoolchildren, as well as to support students who are aware of modern scientific and technological advances and working in this area.
The organizers also set themselves the goal of increasing the students' level of knowledge, developing their thinking, intellectual abilities, skills, and resourcefulness.
In accordance with the competition regulations, one representative from each of the republic's five regions participated in the final round. A total of five participants competed for victory.
As part of the competition, schoolchildren completed written assignments in Tajik and Russian languages, literature, physics, and mathematics. Participants also took tests in Tajik literature, biology, geography, English, information technology, history, chemistry, and law.
The jury members also heard creative reports from the contestants.
Based on the jury's assessment, Saidalizoda Madina, an 11th-grade student at Secondary School No. 1 in the Shamsiddin Shokhin district, was recognized as the winner of the fourth, national stage of the "Student of the Year" competition.
She reportedly scored 94 points and took first place in the national stage of the competition.
