Officers from the Vahdat Department of Internal Affairs detained two residents of the Simiganj rural jamoat on suspicion of grossly disturbing public order, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
According to the agency, S.S. Gayurov, born in 2005, and Kh.Kh. Kendzhaev, born in 2004, have been detained. The investigation established that on June 9, 2026, a conflict occurred between them and D.B. Nizomov, born in 1990, who resided in the same locality. During the argument, the parties inflicted bodily harm on each other.
As reported, S.S. Gayurov then stabbed D.B. Nizomov once in the abdomen with a utility knife. After this, Kh.Kh. Kendzhaev attacked him with the shovel he was carrying. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, public order was grossly violated as a result of the incident. An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Additionally, police are investigating a case of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm in the Kubodiyon district. According to investigators, U.P. Ashurov, born in 1984, a resident of the Nosir Khusrav rural jamoat, got into a jealous conflict with his wife, A.M., born in 1990, on June 11, 2026, while intoxicated.
During an argument, the man injured the woman with a construction knife. The victim sustained various injuries and was hospitalized.
Another case was registered in the city of Nurek. I.I. Tagoev, born in 2003, a resident of the village of Kibili, was arrested on suspicion of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. He had a previous conviction under Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The investigation established that on Kh. Sherozi Street in Nurek, he had an unprovoked confrontation with a 16-year-old local resident and stabbed him once in the abdomen with a kitchen knife. As a result, the minor sustained bodily injuries.
According to the forensic medical examination, the victim suffered serious bodily harm. Investigations into all of these incidents are ongoing.
