On June 13, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, together with President of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlev, launched the construction of a boxing complex and a five-star hotel in the capital's Sino district. This was reported by the Information Department of the Dushanbe Mayor's Office.
The ceremony to mark the beginning of construction took place with the laying of the foundation stone for the future buildings.


During a presentation on the project, Rustami Emomali was informed that the Boxing Complex will be built on a 2.15-hectare site. The sports facility will consist of three floors, seating 7,000 spectators, and will also include parking.
It is noted that the construction of the complex is aimed at creating a modern infrastructure for hosting sporting events.



Additionally, a modern five-star hotel will be built next to the sports facility. It is planned to host national and international competitions at a high organizational level.
According to the information provided, the hotel will have 340 spacious rooms of the luxury and standard categories.
