In Qubodiyon District, 171 construction projects are planned in preparation for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence. To date, 152 of these have already been commissioned, and work on the remaining projects is ongoing.
According to the Executive Authority of the Kubodiyon District, the implementation of the planned projects will contribute to the improvement of social infrastructure and the improvement of the population's quality of life.
According to Umedjon Davlatalizoda, head of the district administration's construction and architecture department, one of the most pressing issues remains the shortage of space in educational institutions. Due to population growth, the need for additional buildings and classrooms has arisen.
With the support of local authorities, ongoing projects, local entrepreneurs, and parents and residents of the district, construction work in the education sector has expanded. As a result, 123 additional classrooms are planned, designed to accommodate 3,075 students. Most of these facilities have already been built.
Considerable attention has also been paid to developing the healthcare system. To improve the quality of medical care for the district's population, a hospital, a 200-bed Tajik-Uzbek medical complex, and a 50-bed infectious diseases hospital were built and commissioned. Medical centers have also been established in remote villages.
The authorities are also taking steps to strengthen the district's industrial potential. In the village of Kubodiyon, 37 local entrepreneurs have been allocated 3 hectares of land for the construction of manufacturing and industrial facilities.
As noted by the district administration, the area where the new facilities are currently being built was previously abandoned. Thanks to the efforts of entrepreneurs and the work carried out, it has been improved and has seen renewed development.
