A grand gala concert dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan's independence and the 80th anniversary of People's Artist of Tajikistan, Maestro Tolibkhon Shakhidi, was held at the Sadriddin Aini Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
The music of Tolibkhon Shakhidi is a unique cultural code and a bridge between East and West, combining the deep philosophical traditions of the Tajik people with monumental classical symphony.

The sacred flame of continuity burns in Tolibkhon Shakhidi's life. The son of the great Ziyodullo Shakhidi, the founder of Tajik professional music, he inherited from his father not just a family name, but a lofty calling. He is a bridge between generations, where the traditions and immortal legacy of our people are born.

As the theater director and artistic director of the project, Kamoliddin Saifiddinzoda, noted:
"This concert was the result of the theater's systematic efforts over the past five years. To implement this high-level international project, we brought together musicians from St. Petersburg (harpists) and Tashkent: the Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater, the Conservatory, and the Philharmonic, made possible by signed memoranda of cooperation. For all of us, it was a great honor and responsibility to prepare this magnificent evening of music, but most importantly, a creative joy. After all, working with Maestro Tolibkhon Ziyodulloevich, contributing to an event that reflects his long career and his amazing musical legacy, is a source of pride for every artist."
The large combined symphony orchestra was conducted by the renowned Hobart Earle from Venezuela, and the theatre's principal conductor, Anvar Shoimurodov, also took part in the concert.

The legendary Steinway grand piano, a gift from the Russian Piano School, made its debut on the Russian stage. Renowned Russian pianist Daniil Kharitonov opened the performance with a virtuoso performance.
The young and talented compatriot and international competition laureate Samir Abdurazakov captivated the audience with his subtle and sensitive performance.
The evening culminated in warm congratulations from officials – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Dilrabo Mansuri and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Matlubakhon Sattoriyon.
This evening proved that Tolibkhon Shakhidi's music knows no boundaries. It breathes our mountains, sings with the Tajik soul, and speaks a universal language understood anywhere in the world.
