Particularly dangerous processes, including acute confrontations between world powers, military operations and armed conflicts, the escalating arms race, "hybrid" and "cold" wars, as well as the expansion of subversive activities by terrorist and extremist organizations, seriously disrupt the peaceful life, stability, and development of the planet's population.
Tajikistan, which found itself embroiled in an imposed civil war after gaining independence, is well aware of the grave and tragic consequences of such processes.
Based on this, we attach primary importance to ensuring peace and stability, peaceful life throughout the world, and always advocate for the resolution of any contradictions and conflicts exclusively by peaceful means.
In this regard, it should be emphasized that the defense of the Motherland, the protection of peace and tranquility, ensuring political stability, strengthening national unity and self-awareness, as well as the foundations of the statehood of the Tajik people are a sacred and honorable duty for every conscious and worthy citizen.
I express with complete confidence that our people, especially our patriotic and devoted youth, will continue to protect and strengthen these priceless blessings – peace, tranquility, unity, and cohesion – with gratitude for independence and freedom, with pride for our homeland and statehood, and for the complete stability of our country.
