On May 8, representatives of the Tajik government visited the village of Khayoti-Nav in the Gissar jamoat, where they presented a congratulatory message and cash gifts to the family of World War II veteran Rajab Ismonov on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Victory over fascism.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri, the mayor of the city of Gissar, member of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Jabbor Nosirzoda, and deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the country Surayo Dustmurodzoda.
The veteran's family received 50,000 somoni from the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and 20,000 somoni from the executive authorities of the city of Gissar.



As noted, the aid was presented to the children and grandchildren of Rajab Ismonov, the last participant in the Great Patriotic War from the city of Gissar.
During the meeting, Dilrabo Mansouri spoke with the veteran's relatives, expressed condolences and support on behalf of the head of state, and congratulated the family on the 81st anniversary of Victory Day.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the heroism and dedication of Rajab Ismonov, noting that the exploits of those who fought in the war and on the labor front serve as an example for the younger generation in strengthening peace, stability, and the country's development.



She also stated that respect for the exploits of war and labor participants is the duty and sacred obligation of every citizen of Tajikistan.
The veteran's children and grandchildren, in turn, expressed gratitude for the head of state's constant care and support. They wished the President of Tajikistan success in his constructive policies and prosperity for the country.
The event was also attended by the first deputy and deputy mayors of the city, the head of the office of the mayor of the city, representatives of the Gissar jamoat, activists of the Public Movement "National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan", as well as members of the Council of War and Labor Veterans of the city of Gissar.
