On May 6, Hisor Mayor Jabbor Nosirzoda, along with his deputies, the city prosecutor, Umedjon Nuriddin Rahmon, and representatives from the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Committee for Emergency Situations under the Government of the Republic, visited villages in Hisor to provide assistance to those affected by the natural disaster. This was reported by the city's press service.
As noted, government representatives held meetings with residents of the Sharora microdistrict, as well as the villages of Gissar, Durbat, and Dehkanobod, who were affected by the natural disaster that occurred on April 30 and May 1–3.
According to city authorities, prolonged heavy rainfall in recent days has resulted in significant material and human losses in several regions of Tajikistan. However, no serious casualties were reported in the city of Gissar.






According to an analysis by the local commission of the Executive Authority of the City of Gissar for Emergency Situations, 72 families suffered material damage. This was caused by water and mudflows entering the homes of residents in these communities.
Authorities reported that, with the support of the city's executive bodies, work is continuing to eliminate the consequences of the disaster and repair the damage caused.
To assist affected families, with the assistance of city authorities, essential food supplies, building materials, and other necessary items were delivered and distributed. The amount of assistance was determined based on the damage suffered by each family.



In particular, assistance was received by:
– 10 families in the Ganjrezi microdistrict of the Sharora microdistrict; — 26 families in the villages of Khayoti-Nav and Gissari, Gissar village; — 21 families in the villages of Chilchanor and Dusti of the village of Dekhkanobod; – 11 families in the vicinity of the village of Durbat; — 4 families in the Gissar microdistrict.
Residents of the affected communities expressed gratitude to the Government of Tajikistan and city leadership for their timely assistance and support during this difficult period.
