On April 24, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon launched production lines for iron fencing, the presidential press service reported.
A production facility for iron fencing has been established at the Experimental Mechanical Plant Closed Joint-Stock Company in Nurek. The new industrial facility was built to advance the fourth national goal—the accelerated industrialization of the country—and is equipped with modern equipment and technology.
The products are manufactured using modern technological lines, are of high quality and meet established standards.
During the tour, Emomali Rahmon was informed that the company's products are primarily intended for strengthening the state border, while guaranteeing ease of installation and a long service life.
The production of this type of product, established by the private sector with the support of the country's government, helps reduce import volumes and is of great economic importance.
According to projected figures, the plant is capable of producing up to 1,500 units per day and over 180,000 iron fences per year. These volumes allow it not only to meet domestic demand but also to export products. To achieve these goals, the creation of new production lines is planned.
During a conversation with the head of state, the company's director, Khudzhamurod Azimov, committed to providing 300 kilometers of the state border with such fencing.
The company employs 30 specialists in two shifts, all of whom are local residents.
It was reported that the plant generates 1.5 MW of electricity through the installation of solar panels, and installation of another 1.5 MW of capacity is ongoing. Thanks to this, the plant is fully self-sufficient in electricity.
During his tour of the new production line, the head of state gave instructions and recommendations to those responsible for the efficient use of existing capacity, improving product quality, increasing production volumes, and attracting more domestic specialists.
