On April 21, 2026, as part of the implementation of the order of the mayor of Bokhtar, Abdulmadzhid Muminzoda, a special working group began conducting control measures. This was reported by the city administration press service.
The group's main task is to restore order in the city, prevent street trading, protect the interests of residents and ensure proper control.
The working group included deputy mayors, representatives of the Bokhtar City Department of Internal Affairs, the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, the State Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services", the Department of Construction and Roads, as well as representatives of the media.

During the inspections, the group members examined the situation with unregulated trading, identified temporary and illegal trading points on sidewalks, and also noted unauthorized dumps, polluted drains, and violations of sanitary standards.
Following the inspections, several illegally established retail outlets were closed, and the entrepreneurs were sent to designated trading locations.

At the same time, awareness-raising sessions were held with vendors and residents living near the markets. Particular attention was paid to the need to maintain reasonable prices, prevent unjustified price increases, and ensure the sale of quality goods.
Furthermore, the importance of strict control over street vending was emphasized. Entrepreneurs are advised to conduct their activities only in designated areas.
