Shohin Airlines and Airbus discussed the acquisition of four A320neo family aircraft and further development of their partnership, NIAT Khovar reported, citing the airline's press center.
This was a continuation of the dialogue initiated earlier this year in Toulouse. Following negotiations on the purchase of two A320neo and two A321neo aircraft, a memorandum of understanding was signed, laying the foundation for expanding the partnership and identifying key areas of collaboration.
The company emphasized that the cooperation between Shohin Airlines and Airbus is developing in a mutually beneficial manner. Currently, the parties are demonstrating positive dynamics, and negotiations on the acquisition of aircraft are in the final stages.
The implementation of the agreements reached is expected to be an important step towards updating the airline's fleet and strengthening its position in the air transport market.
Shohin Airlines is a private airline registered in Tajikistan and focused on developing national civil aviation, as well as regional and international transportation. The company currently operates helicopters for specialized flights.
It is noted that the air carrier is also negotiating with leading global aircraft manufacturers and is considering prospects for developing passenger, cargo, and business aviation services in the country.
