The international tourism forum and exhibition "Khatlon: Land of Civilizations and Travel" will be held in Tajikistan on June 4–5, 2026. This was announced by the press service of the Khatlon region chairman.
The organizers invite a wide range of participants, from tourists and entrepreneurs to diplomats and international partners. The event is positioned as an open platform for dialogue, the presentation of investment opportunities, and the promotion of Khatlon's tourism brand.
It is noted that the Khatlon region, with its rich history and natural diversity, is striving to gain a more prominent place on the international tourism map.
The forum's key venue will be the Childukhtaron tourist zone in the Muminabad district, a picturesque corner of the region with significant potential for the development of eco- and cultural tourism. The name Childukhtaron translates as "40 girls" and refers to the mountain range that is the subject of numerous legends.
Registration for the event is free and online. Experts believe this could significantly expand the geographic reach of participants and increase interest in the region among international visitors.
Analysts note that holding such events is consistent with Tajikistan's overall strategy for developing the tourism industry and diversifying the economy. The forum is expected to bring together representatives from various countries and become a key platform for the 2026 summer tourism season.
