In Dushanbe, another child was taken from his parents and sent to a specialized institution.
According to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs, some parents' irresponsible approach to raising their children can push minors to commit offenses and crimes.
According to the agency, a 14-year-old resident of Dushanbe, taking advantage of the lack of proper parental supervision, regularly wandered the streets and committed thefts.
The minor was repeatedly detained by officers from the juvenile affairs unit of the Sino District Department of Internal Affairs No. 2. Preventive discussions and outreach were conducted with him and his parents. However, despite these measures, his behavior did not change, and he continued his illegal activities.
Given the current situation, the necessary documents were prepared for the minor's parents, after which Article 73 of the Family Code of the Republic of Tajikistan was applied, which provides for the removal of the child without deprivation of parental rights.
By decision of the Sino District Court, the minor was removed from his family and placed in the State Institution of Secondary General Education "Boarding School No. 1 for Orphans and Children Left Without Parental Care" in Dushanbe, where he will receive education and upbringing.
It is noted that such measures are being taken to prevent further offenses and ensure the proper upbringing of minors.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also called on citizens, especially parents, not to remain indifferent to the upbringing of their children, to exercise constant oversight, and to demonstrate a high degree of responsibility for their moral and behavioral development.
