During the Navruz celebrations, a group of students from Dushanbe Secondary School No. 56 rented a significant number of vehicles, violating traffic rules and public order, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the agency, students leaned out of car windows, creating dangerous and hazardous situations on the capital's streets.
Employees of the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Delinquency of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an investigation into this incident.
As a result, 15 minors and their parents were taken to the police station. Administrative protocols were filed against their parents under Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In addition, administrative reports were drawn up and fines were imposed on five drivers of vehicles who deliberately violated traffic regulations.
Law enforcement agencies have once again appealed to citizens, particularly parents, to not leave their children unattended and to exercise responsibility in their upbringing.
