The "Pili Damon" school team chess tournament, organized by the Tajikistan Chess Federation to determine the best team to represent Tajikistan at the Asian School Team Championship, concluded in Dushanbe. The Tajikistan Chess Federation reported this.
Twenty-eight teams from Dushanbe's comprehensive schools took part in the competition. The young chess players demonstrated a high level of preparation, logical thinking, and a will to win, and the games were tense and engaging.



Following the tournament, the team from Lyceum No. 3 for Gifted Children of Dushanbe took third place, the team from Maktabi Chakhon School took second place, and the team from Federal State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 6 took first place, earning the right to represent the Republic of Tajikistan at the Asian Championship among school teams.


The championship is scheduled to be held from April 6 to 11, 2026 in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The winning team from Federal State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 6 included David Naimov, Amal Kholova, Iskander Kholov and Asiya Mukhsinzoda.
