As part of the III Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, cooperation agreements were signed between the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and a number of higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This was reported by NIAT Khovar with reference to the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed between the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov.
Cooperation agreements were also signed between the university's divisions and a number of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. These included agreements between the International Institute of the Dangara branch of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Samarkand Institute of Economics, Ecology, and Service; between the International Institute of the Levakant branch of the university and the Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy; and between the International Institute of the Khujand branch of the university and the Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature.
In addition, agreements were signed between the Academy of Tourism of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship and the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road"; between the Institute of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship and Bukhara State Technical University; between the Institute of World Economy and Diplomacy of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship and Namangan State University; and between the Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Tourism and Service Workers of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship and the Bukhara Engineering and Technological Institute.
It is noted that the implementation of the signed agreements will facilitate the introduction of joint educational programs, the exchange of teachers and students, scientific research, the implementation of international projects, and the improvement of the quality of education.
In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and effectively implement the signed agreements, emphasizing that such initiatives are an important step toward developing scientific and cultural ties between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
