In March, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulaimon Ziyozoda inspected the progress of field work, preparation of pumping stations for the irrigation season, and the planting of potatoes and other early vegetable crops in the Farkhor district.
This was reported by NIAT Khovar with reference to the Executive Authority of State Authority of Farkhor District.
The working group primarily studied the sowing of cotton under film, the development of agricultural crops, and measures taken to prevent the spread of pests, including locusts.
During the familiarization, it was noted that the use of modern agricultural methods, timely implementation of agricultural measures, and the adoption of necessary measures to protect crops are among the most important factors in increasing the productivity of the industry.
Responsible officials were given specific instructions and recommendations on the efficient use of land, intensification of field work and prevention of the threat of pest spread.
It was emphasized that the proposals and recommendations presented by the members of the working group will comprehensively contribute to the further targeted activities of farmers in the region and the development of the agricultural sector.
