During a working visit to the Yavan District, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulaimon Ziyozoda inspected the state of readiness of agricultural machinery for spring field work, as well as the efficient use of greenhouses and agricultural land at the Kambari farm in the village of Kambari. This was reported by the Executive Authority of the Yavan District.
It is reported that more than 130 units of various agricultural machinery are ready for operation.
The Kambari farm notes that it owns 15 hectares of agricultural land. Its operations focus on growing various crops and fruit trees. Citrus fruits, including lemons, oranges, and tangerines, are planted in greenhouses. The necessary conditions for their cultivation have been created in accordance with agricultural requirements.
The Deputy Prime Minister also inspected the work completed on installing a 141,000 kVA (141 MVA) power transformer at the Yavan 220/35/10-6 kV substation.
It was noted that in order to eliminate existing problems, including preventing recurring accidents, relieving excess load and power shortages, and responding to residents' requests regarding power supply interruptions, a new power transformer with a capacity of 141,000 kVA (141 MVA) was purchased and installed in the power distribution networks at the initiative of the Executive Authority of the State Authority of the Yavan District.
The project is being implemented at a cost of 19.8 million somoni. As a result, excess grid loads will be reduced, and the power shortage in the area of the corresponding substations will be completely eliminated. This will ensure a stable power supply to residents, social institutions, and industrial enterprises.
During his visit, Sulaimon Ziyozoda also inspected the construction of an additional educational building at Secondary School No. 17. Projects for the construction of 17 more educational institutions, with a total of 10,580 seats in two shifts, planned for the district were presented.
The additional school building in the village of Garav, Dakhan rural jamoat, is designed as a three-story structure and includes 26 classrooms, an assembly hall, and a cafeteria. The facility is designed to accommodate 1,280 students in two shifts. Once operational, the school's shortage of student places will be resolved.
Construction is being carried out with the participation of local residents. Work is currently ongoing on the first floor. The total cost of the project is 15 million somoni, of which 2,717,000 somoni have been spent to date.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister inspected the completed work in the gypsum brick production workshop of the Fayzi Gach Limited Liability Company.
The facility, created at the initiative of a local entrepreneur with 3 million somoni in funding, aims to develop the building materials industry in the region. The facility's production capacity is 1.5 million gypsum bricks per year. The enterprise is capable of meeting local market demand and creating the conditions for construction work in the region.
It was noted that once the workshop is fully operational, 18 local residents will be provided with permanent jobs. Installation of production equipment has now been completed, and landscaping work within and around the facility is ongoing.
