A general meeting of members of the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises in the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan Guo Zhijun attended the event, reports NIAT Khovar.
Speaking at the meeting, the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission noted that in 2025, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Tajikistan in the new era reached a qualitatively new level. He stated that this created additional opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as for the increased activity of Chinese enterprises in the republic.
It was emphasized that in the initial year of the People's Republic of China's 15th Five-Year Development Plan, the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises in Tajikistan should intensify efforts to strengthen security and compliance mechanisms and promote the effective cross-border development of production and supply chains. Particular attention was paid to the need to align the objectives of China's 15th Five-Year Plan with the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan to 2030.
Sun He, Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Tajikistan, praised the Chamber of Commerce's performance in 2025. He also outlined priority areas for its further development, including strengthening its organizational structure and expanding its foreign business activity.
The general meeting was attended by representatives of 27 companies with Chinese capital, which are members of the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese enterprises in the Republic of Tajikistan.
