Today, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali met with Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Tajikistan Radoslaw Darski. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union, attracting investment, implementing joint projects, as well as interaction in the areas of green energy, digitalization, infrastructure development, and human capital.



Particular attention was paid to discussing the development of relations under the Expanded Partnership and Cooperation Agreement. The parties emphasized that the signing of this document in 2026 will lay the foundation for a transition to a new stage of bilateral cooperation, strengthening economic and investment ties, and expanding opportunities for joint projects in key economic sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue regular dialogue and further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas of economic development between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union.
