The Tajikistan national futsal team, led by coach Pairav Vohidov, continues preparations for the 2026 AFC Asian Cup finals in Jakarta, according to the Tajikistan Football Federation.
Today, January 20, the team played their final friendly match at their training camp in Indonesia. The Tajikistan national team played against the Saudi Arabian national team. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Goalkeeper Firuz Bekmurodov scored the only goal for the Tajik team.
Earlier, at a training camp in Jakarta, the Tajikistan national team played two friendly matches: in the first match, the team lost to the Kyrgyzstan national team with a score of 2:4, and in the second, they defeated the Indonesian national team with a score of 3:1.
At the 2026 AFC Asian Cup finals, Tajikistan will compete in Group C. In the group stage, the team will face Uzbekistan (January 28), Japan (January 30), and Australia (February 1).
Preparations for the tournament are aimed at improving the team's tactical and physical readiness ahead of the official matches of the 2026 Asian Cup, which is considered one of the key futsal competitions in Asia.
