The Dushanbe-1 team won the national youth tournament "Pereprava," dedicated to the memory of former General Secretary of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Islom Makhmadshoev, the Football Federation of Tajikistan reports.
The tournament took place on the reserve pitch of Dushanbe's Central Stadium. Eight teams participated in the competition, divided into two groups. The group stage consisted of single-round robin matches, after which the top two teams from each group advanced to the playoffs.
The final matches of the tournament took place on December 19. In the third-place match, the Sogd team defeated GRRP-1 with a score of 7:1. The final match pitted Dushanbe-1 and Dushanbe-2. Dushanbe-1 won 4:1, claiming the tournament title. The team played under the guidance of coach Shamsiddin Kosimov.



The closing ceremony of the "Pereprava" tournament, dedicated to the memory of Islom Makhmadshoev, was attended by Alisher Urunov, Vice President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan; Furkat Akhmedzhanov, Secretary General of the Football Federation of Tajikistan; Muhammadtolib Shokirzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan; Abdullo Sokiyev, Director of the Children's and Youth Football League of Tajikistan; Davlatmand Islomov, Head of the International Relations Department of the Football Federation of Tajikistan; and Pulod Kodirzoda, Director of the Russian School of Higher Sports of Tajikistan (RSHSM) for Football.
The tournament organizing committee named the best players on the teams. Abdullo Kalandarov (Sogd), Ramazon Eshmatov (Dushanbe-2), and Usmon Shirinov (Dushanbe-1) were named the best players. Asadbek Makhtumov (Sogd) was named the competition's top scorer. Sulaimon Khodjiev (Dushanbe-1) received the tournament's best player award.
