In his address to the country's parliament, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon ordered the construction of an International Navruz Center in the capital, the presidential press service reported.
"Considering the philosophy and eternal wisdom of Navruz, as well as the traditions of this holiday, it is necessary to build an International Navruz Center in the capital," the head of state emphasized.
In addition, the president instructed the government and the Dushanbe mayor's office to take measures to establish Konun—the Center of Aryan Civilization.
These institutions are intended to become cultural and educational platforms for the popularization of the historical, cultural and spiritual values of the region.
The implementation of these initiatives is aimed at strengthening national identity, preserving cultural heritage and expanding international cultural cooperation.
The Navruz International Center will be dedicated to the celebration of Navruz, an ancient festival of spring and renewal symbolizing peace, harmony, and the unity of peoples, while Konun—the Center for Aryan Civilization—is planned as a complex for the study and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the Aryan peoples.
The construction and operation of these centers is expected to contribute to the development of tourism, cultural exchange, and educational programs in the country.
