Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan participated in the Second International Conference on Combating Illegal Migration, which took place from December 9 to 11 in Brussels, Belgium, the ministry's press service reported.
The Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission on Combating Human Trafficking, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Police Alamshozoda Abdurakhmon Alamsho participated in and spoke at the high-level event.
The conference discussed current issues related to combating illegal migration, smuggling and human trafficking, as well as transnational organized crime structures.
On the sidelines of the conference, Alamshozoda A.A. held bilateral meetings and discussions with high-ranking representatives of law enforcement agencies and international organizations aimed at strengthening cooperation in combating international crime and illegal migration.
