As part of the third component of the "Healthy Nation Tajikistan" project, aimed at preparing for and responding to public health emergencies, five specialized double-cabin vehicles with full equipment for transporting hazardous samples, consumables, and packaging were purchased and imported into the country. This was reported by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, ceremoniously presented the keys to the specialized vehicles to officials from the country's relevant institutions.






According to Order No. 12-195 of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 10, 2025, these vehicles will be distributed to bacteriological laboratories of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Service. Specifically, the following institutions will receive the vehicles:
State Institution "Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise, Supervision of Transport and Borders" in Dushanbe,
Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Sughd Region in Khujand,
The Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in Khorog,
regional centers in the cities of Bokhtar and Kulyab in the Khatlon region.
Receiving these specialized vehicles will enable institutions to transport hazardous samples, consumables, and packaging in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of sanitary and epidemiological surveillance throughout the country.
The vehicles were purchased as part of the Healthy Nation Tajikistan project, with financial support from the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (HEPR) Program, managed by the World Bank Group.
