The Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT) has been awarded the AFC Grassroots Charter – Gold Level Membership, the highest level of recognition for the achievements of national football associations in the development of grassroots football, the FFT press service reported.
The Gold Certificate is awarded to federations that demonstrate sustainable, large-scale, and effective work to improve access to football and create conditions for the involvement of broad sections of the population in grassroots football.



During their official visit to Dushanbe, members of the AFC Grassroots Football Commission conducted a comprehensive assessment of the activities of the FFT and the Children's and Youth Football League of Tajikistan. The delegation learned about ongoing programs and projects aimed at promoting football among children, youth, and women, as well as initiatives spanning various regions of the country.
Following the visit, AFC representatives noted the high level of organization, the systematic approach, and the significant population reach. They emphasized that the activities of the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the Children's and Youth Football League make a significant contribution to the development of grassroots football at the national level and meet the AFC's international standards.
