During a working visit to the Sughd region, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon commissioned the administrative building of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT), a new education department building, a private gymnasium, two educational facilities, four manufacturing plants, and a greenhouse with fish ponds in the Jabbor Rasulov district.
Emomali Rahmon was informed that the new three-story building of the PDPT Executive Committee includes 10 offices, a library, an archive, a meeting room, and a public reception area. It offers excellent conditions for employees. Construction began in May 2024 and was financed by the PDPT Central Executive Committee, as well as local entrepreneurs and generous individuals. As of November 1, 2025, the PDPT Executive Committee in Jabbor Rasulov District has 11,384 members, and 73 primary party organizations are active. The area around the new building is decorated with flowers and shady trees, and all the paths are paved.
In anticipation of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the NDPT, official vehicles were handed over to local party structures in 18 cities and districts of the country.
During his working visit, Emomali Rahmon opened a private gymnasium, two educational facilities, four manufacturing plants, and a greenhouse with fish ponds. The new plants produce five types of products, including footwear, soap, eggs and poultry, fish, and vegetables. In total, the newly opened plants and enterprises have created 150 new jobs.
The three poultry farms have a monthly production capacity of 350,000 hatching eggs, 250,000 chickens, and 2,000 tons of chicken meat annually. Forty-two artificial fish ponds built by Khairi Safo LLC produce up to 300 tons of fish annually, with a gradual expansion of carp production. A one-hectare greenhouse operated by Khairi Safo LLC is used for vegetable cultivation, with the potential for up to three harvests per year.
The secondary school and preschool have created conditions for 1,200 students to study in two shifts, while 70 new jobs have been created. Emomali Rahmon instructed officials and entrepreneurs on the effective use of state support, tax and customs incentives, the introduction of modern technologies, the development of entrepreneurial activity, and the expansion of production capabilities.
Emomali Rahmon also inaugurated a new building for the Jabbor Rasulov District Education Department, consisting of three floors and a basement. The building includes 34 offices, a 100-seat auditorium, a library, an archive, and several auxiliary spaces. Construction began in 2023 and was completed using a modern design and elements of national architecture.
There are 43 general education institutions in the Jabbor Rasulov district, serving 31,772 students. Emomali Rahmon gave instructions on improving the quality of teaching, utilizing modern technologies, and engaging students in the natural and exact sciences, as well as foreign languages. It was reported that 80% of the district's teachers are women. This year, 16 graduates from the district were admitted to universities nationwide under the Presidential Quota, eight of them female. Over the past five years, 40 female students from the district have used the Presidential Quota to enroll in higher education institutions.
New administrative, educational, and industrial facilities were built by representatives of the private sector in accordance with the instructions of the Leader of the Nation. The aim is to contribute to the improvement of the region, increase the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, and prepare for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
