On the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference on 31 October 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, and the Minister of State for Federal Education and Training of Pakistan, Wajiha Qamar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported .
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for developing cooperation within UNESCO in the fields of education and culture.
The ministers expressed their willingness to intensify cooperation between the National Commissions for UNESCO of the two countries and discussed prospects for joint educational and cultural programs aimed at strengthening friendly ties and expanding cooperation in the international educational and cultural spheres.
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the further development of partnership relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the fields of education and culture.
