In the city of Penjikent, extensive road repairs and landscaping of local areas have been carried out in preparation for the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence, according to the city administration's press service.
Using various funding sources and the active participation of businesses and residents, 116 kilometers of local roads were repaired within the city. Of these, 76.8 kilometers were paved with asphalt, and 42.2 kilometers were paved with gravel. The work continues.
With the support of the city's executive authorities and at the initiative of the Sabr-Sokhtmon construction company, entrepreneur and City Council deputy Numon Shafiev, more than a thousand square meters of the road and surrounding area of the new high-rise residential building on Tereshkova Street were completely paved.
The seven-story residential building, which is currently being prepared for occupancy, was built by the company in a short timeframe and to a high standard of workmanship. The ground floor of the building includes retail and service areas, creating additional opportunities for servicing residents and developing businesses in the area.
The city administration emphasizes that the implementation of such projects is part of a comprehensive program to improve urban infrastructure and is aimed at improving living conditions, as well as increasing the safety and comfort of Penjikent residents.
