President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation to discuss key issues in developing bilateral cooperation, according to the press service of the Tajik leader.
The interlocutors focused on current aspects of the international agenda and exchanged views on issues of interaction within multilateral structures.
In addition, the presidents reviewed the schedule of upcoming meetings, including Vladimir Putin's visit to Tajikistan scheduled for October 9.
Dushanbe emphasized that regular high-level contacts serve as an important factor in strengthening the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Russia.
