Police in the city of Vahdat have uncovered several cases of cattle theft, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
According to law enforcement, on September 6, 2025, one head of cattle was stolen from the garden plot of a 57-year-old city resident. The damage amounted to 14,500 somoni. During the investigation, police determined that the theft was committed by a 19-year-old city resident.
It was also revealed that in July of that year, the suspect stole livestock from the garden plot of a 41-year-old resident of Vahdat. The damage amounted to 12,000 somoni.
Additionally, on September 13, 2025, at approximately 7:30 PM, one head of cattle was stolen from a farm pasture. The damage amounted to 15,000 somoni. A 17-year-old local resident was the perpetrator of the crime.
All three incidents are under investigation. Law enforcement officials are continuing to work to establish all the circumstances of the incident and bring those responsible to justice.
