Tajikistan's experience in digitalizing customs operations was presented at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence held in Bishkek, according to the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Delegations from customs authorities and experts from nine countries participated in the forum. Participants exchanged practical experience in the application of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, in customs. Key topics discussed included risk management, the implementation of digital solutions, the development of the "smart customs" concept, and the use of intelligent systems to optimize procedures.
The Tajik delegation presented its national experience in modernizing and digitalizing customs operations, including the implementation of artificial intelligence in risk management systems. The presentations emphasized that this work is being carried out in accordance with the "Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence until 2040," the "Digital Economy Concept," and the "Customs Development Program for the Medium Term for 2025–2029."
The Customs Service noted that the participation of national specialists in international events facilitates the study of the experience of leading countries and the creation of a foundation for the successful implementation of digital reforms in the customs sector in Tajikistan.
