Tajik athlete Abubakr Abduljalilzoda won bronze at the Asian Junior Wrestling Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Tajik Wrestling Federation announced this.
Abdulzhalilzoda competed in the 81 kg weight class and successfully completed a series of bouts. Despite losing in the semifinals, he managed to win the decisive bout for third place and earned a bronze medal at the continental championship.
According to the federation, the athlete's performance was further confirmation of the growing skill of young Tajik wrestlers, who continue to confidently establish themselves on the international stage.
