On September 11, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister, Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, received the Special Representative of the OSCE/Finland Chairmanship-in-Office, Ms. Teri Hakala. This was reported by the press service of the Tajik Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of cooperation issues within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Projects across the three dimensions of the organization's activities were discussed, including jointly addressing modern challenges, combating terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, cybercrime, and climate change adaptation measures.
Minister Mukhriddin and the OSCE representative also discussed bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Finland. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation and strengthening mutual interaction in various areas of foreign policy and security.
The press service noted that the meeting contributed to the further deepening of dialogue and strengthening of trust between Tajikistan, Finland, and international organizations within the OSCE.
